Beating #1 Tennessee my freshman year, storming the field and then partying all night on Dickson with the torn down goal post onsite that was carried down from the stadium.

What was your favorite Sport memory while in school at your SEC school?
1982 Iron Bowl (breaking Bama's 9-game winning streak).
Since that game, the head-to-head record in the Iron Bowl is 18-18 (if you include the 1982 game, its 19-18 in AU's favor).

My favorite memories as a student at LSU are the ones I can't remember.
Ahhhhh, good times...

One of my last years in college, 2005. We beat number 3 Florida badly. Unexpected and awesome.

Sigh. At Ole Miss in the late 90s early 2000s there wasn’t much to hang your hat on in sports. I guess beating Florida in 2002. They were #6 at the time but finished 8-5. Basketball was good but nothing stands out.
Maybe going to Baton Rouge and watching Eli beat that arse. I genuinely feared for my safety. Corndogs threatened me at least 5 times.

2006 March Madness or the entire 2007 football season.
LSU from 04-08 was a pretty good time. Missed a second football NC by a year and a baseball championship by a year too.

The Bama win in 2010, the Ohio State bowl wins, and beating Clemson in the first of five straight. That Clemson game was my first with my dad.

How many years did you go to school?

Fair point. I wasn’t thinking about the last one. I was long gone by 10.
It was eight good years though if you include grad school.

Two years grad school at Colorado. It’s a damn miracle I got anything done. Six years undergrad. I didn’t want to grow up. Kept adding majors. Ended up with a triple major/double minor. The end came when the sad day came iwas walking around campus and I realized I barely knew anyone anymore. It was time to go. I was becoming “that older guy.”
