What SEC Rant fanbases do you think have the lowest football IQ? My top three:

A&M
Ole Miss
UF

Lord help this place if A&M ever actually wins the SEC.

I used to think Bama fans had one until so many of are fans actually believed Jalen Hurts was a good quarterback. Hell, some of them still do.

Honestly if you are an SEC football fan, you are pretty knowledgeable about college football......

every fan base does have its idiots though (yes, even Vanderbilt....)

Put me in the group that thinks Hurts is a good QB. He does have problems passing, but his results on the field have been very good (only two losses.)

He might be overthinking his plays on the field to prevent turnovers. Will he make it in the NFL, no. What I think Hurts will do is become a coach....

But there is no denying Hurts is a good QB.....

He's not a good QB.

You're hurting our chances in this poll.

I wish Saban would've thought like you in the 2nd half of the NC

I have not looked into the SC fans on here. I know some that are very good at talking football. But my experience with the fanbase as a whole is completely opposite of what you're saying. I was run off of one of their public boards in 2002 preseason for questioning Corey Jenkins Heisman credentials. I was not talking smack, but just asked them if he were a legit Heisman candidate, why couldn't he win the job from Phil Petty? (and I actually complimented Petty in the post, saying he was a smart guy who got every ounce out of his potential) I was soon blacklisted.

I really can't say it's changed much where I've discussed football on the internet with them. Like I said, I haven't discussed much football with SC fans on the Rant. The guys that are on this SEC board seem to be okay.

Isn't it true that Knowshon Moreno is illiterate?
I've never heard that. Do you have a link? because I have a link about Tennessee:

Linda Bensel-Meyers, who worked for Tennessee until 2003, said a university-hired psychologist would diagnose learning disabilities in athletes and put them in a program without the graduation requirements set for other students.
"Many of the records I looked at revealed that these athletes came to us essentially illiterate and still left the school functionally illiterate," Bensel-Meyers told CNN.
When contacted by CNN, Tennessee did not answer questions.

They’re called homer boards for a reason.

I came over here from Cockytalk because you couldn’t ever really say anything negative (or even realistic) without getting chastised

Exactly. If you are in someone elses house you don't point out negatives about them or their home. You are a guest, and respect their sovereignty. Same for message boards. Understand that you are on their board, and respect that they are going to be wary of you because you are a fan of another team.

Coach Saban thinks differently. So I think you should call for an appointment to meet with him and to tell Coach Saban he is wrong.

Just because Hurts had a bad half in the first half of the NC game, does not discount what the young man did the last two years. The previous year, Hurts all but won the game for Alabama, but the offense scored to quickly, and gave Clemson to much time.
