With the Thursday night game between former SEC QBs coming up, just thought I'd throw these historical stats out there.

Alabama - 4
Joe Namath 29-Sep-74
Joe Namath 12-Dec-76**
Richard Todd 12-Dec-76**
Scott Hunter 28-Oct-73

Arkansas - 1
Joe Ferguson 3-Sep-78
Brandon Allen 3-Jan-21

Auburn - 2
Dick Wood 9-Sep-66
Dick Wood 19-Sep-65

Florida - 1
Rex Grossman 31-Dec-06

Georgia - 1
Rick Arrington* 25-Oct-70

Ole Miss - 2
Archie Manning 25-Nov-74
Eli Manning 12-Dec-04

South Carolina - 1
Anthony Wright 25-Dec-00

Tennessee - 3
Pat Ryan 30-Sep-91
Peyton Manning^ 15-Nov-15
Nathan Peterman* 9-Sep-18

Bonus: Texas - 2
Gary Keithley*** 16-Dec-73
Gary Keithley**** 9-Dec-73

* Transfer

** Todd replaced Namath and also posted a 0.0 passer rating

*** Only player to post a 0.0 passer rating in back to back games

**** Only game where both starting QBs posted a 0.0 passer rating (Defeated Atlanta, QBed by Bob Lee)

^ Broke Brett Favre's record for NFL career passing yards in this game; later benched. Record no longer stands.

I know a lot of UGA history but have never heard of Rick Arrington.

A brief wiki search says he was at UGA 2 years then transferred to Tulsa for 3 years. I'd probably count him as a Tulsa QB.

Also fun wiki fact: he is the dad of jill arrington. So thanks for that Rick!

Yeah. I couldn't exactly find any clips of him on Youtube claiming Tulsa or UGA when being introduced on a CBS broadcast in 1970.

Over just on 12-Dec-76. You know he was pounding them after he got pulled.

The Rex Grossman 0.0 game was the final week of the season and he only played the first half because the Bears had the #1 seed locked. He still played like arse for that half but just thought I'd qualify it.

Sucks that was his last game as a Jet; I think he tried to stay in the game too long. His body was trashed by that point.
