Defense will keep you guys in games but the offense looked far less than impressive in real time, despite what the stats ended up saying.

I'm gonna pass judgment until I see the offense play a game not plagued by FOURTEEN penalties

At least that is correctable. You guys should have put up a lot more on BG though. Not saying it will happen, but if we dont beat you guys this year I dont know if we ever will

You were up by 3 with 13 minutes to go in the game. BG threw an INT at the UF 30.

1. Bama and LSU
2 - 12. Everyone else
13 - 14. Ole Miss and UK

Bama and LSU are clearly better than everyone else. But the rest of the conference is about as even as I have ever seen it. There are going to be some so called upsets for everyone IMO. Except those two. It is going to be a fun year to watch.

How the frick someone could put ATM above us when they haven't even played a game yet is beyond me. Especially since we owned the Ags the last several years. No offense Ags, but ya know this to be true.

Chalk this one up as not having a clue.

I watched your game. Yes, it was a struggle for UF. When you only have a 17-14 lead going into the 4th quarter, then yes, it's a struggle. When you get beat 22-14 in 1st downs, then yes, it was a struggle.

UF struggled big-time to find an identity on offense

I keep seeing this.....UF struggled on offense/had no offensive identity. For those who watched the game, what was the difference between our number of pass and rushing plays? 21 Pass / 42 Rush

We rushed against a stacked box (they gave no respect to the passing game, which they shouldn't because we never challenged their secondary) so I would say our ability to run in that game shows a big improvement over last year and sets an offensive identity as a team who will run the ball down your throat no matter how many people you put on the line.

That game against Michigan was fools gold. I hope they stay 1 till they stroll into baton rouge.

As usual, Bama Nation feels like it is their birthright again this year. Rude awakening waiting for them in TS in November.

I still say Ole Miss is worse. We wont be down to an FCS team. No way.

yeah but we showed TONS of improvements from last year in game 1.

Week 1 in the SEC:

Lead SEC in total yards with 565

Lead SEC in 1st downs with 31

3rd in passing yards with 330

3rd in rushing yards with 235

I know this was against a lower tier team but give the dumpster fire last year to come out game one and put up numbers like this is a breath of fresh air for rebel fans. We actually had a game plan and moved the ball. Bo Wallace can throw too. Defense made adjustments at the half and almost held them scoreless in the second half.

but vegas didn't believe in michigan.....thus the large point spread. This was not a shocker and too much is being made of this.....like I expected. Michigan has a bad D line.....poor overall defense and no passing game....LSU would have rolled them as well.......but no problem with bama getting the hype....it will be settled in baton rouge in november....and it looks like ga has a good shot at emerging from the east...the east looks weak yet again...very unimpressed with SC and Florida...

this is the SEC Power Rankings. New boys dont get credit for beating up on SELa. Play a real team then we'll see. But on the bright side, being ranked low in the SEC is still better than being ranked high in the Big12

Agreed

Many SEC teams could have walked all over Michigan
