Yeah you caught my mistype. You wouldn't have been so butthurt over my post if you wasn't posting that for spite. But maybe Bert will get someone a HC job, if they don't all jump ship like Ash.

Will Muschamp, currently the highest paid coordinator in the country-- in a couple of years he might be good head coach somewhere.

Why don't you just call me a name and run off like you usually do with everyone. Hey one of the Arky faithful just started a response thread to trash Rhett and Kirby Smart. Shouldn't you be over there telling everyone there how bad Rhett is?

You're the one who brought in Bret there champ. Trying to change the dynamic of the conversation shows devensiveness. Now your bringing up another thread, still more proof. Why do you constantly post when you're getting your arse handed to you?Quit comical.

Lorenzo Ward

Shawn Elliot and GA Mangus could also become sec HCs eventually

Pruitt will end up a HC somewhere down the line.

Dear 8 lb 10 oz Baby Jesus, please please let Alabama call Jeremy Pruitt home to be HC when Saban retires. Amen

Fans being bitchy about their own coach always make the best comments.

Why do you keep pretending you are proving someone wrong and then call them names and pretend you've made some kind of point? Your entire posts in this thread consist of bad mouthing Auburn coaches because they run Gus's system, calling people stupid because they proved your argument was irrelevant, pointing out missed words, and now claiming you are handing people their arse. Are you sure you're not Hawgfaninc's brother?

See, another long post. I never called you stupid. Just your posts. Sorry your so sensitive. I didn't bad mouth any Auburn coach. Just said he would never be an SEC head coach. You have yet to provide anything to offset anything anyone gas said, just what its that more than likely won't happen. See, you have made stuff up. Stick to the facts and you won't get your lies mixed up.

Well, and I'm not getting in the middle of this fight, I do want to note that relatively few current SEC head coaches ever worked as assistants in the SEC. Spurrier, obviously, and Gus. I think Freeze was a position coach at OM at one point. Dan Mullen was at UF, of course. Unless I'm missing someone, that's four out of fourteen HCs, a pretty small percentage.

Why is Spurrier obvious? I had to go to his wiki page to find out that he was QB coach at Florida for 1 season

Rhett Lashlee will go to Arky as their HC. When Gus retires, he will come home to be Auburn's HC.

Maybe not so obvious, then. I mistakenly thought it was common knowledge that he returned to UF for a bit. Not important. The point of my comment was that surprisingly few current coaches worked in the SEC prior to their ascension. I assume that's partly because of the more national scale of CFB and greater cultural mobility nowadays.
