We would never hire Kiffin. Chad Morris will be the next A&M head coach.

I'm not sure Chad Morris will be around that long. I'm thinking five years down the road unless y'all are expecting Sumlin to leave soon. Morris was almost scooped up this year.

How long has Roper been an OC? Was Duke his first stint?

So he's been a Cutcliffe disciple for a long time. Great guy to be taught by.

Weird he couldn't get an OC job after OM though. Not putting to much into that because I liked Duke's offense.

Who knows, maybe it was a personal decision.

Geoff Collins will eventually leave us for a head coaching job somewhere. No idea where but it wouldn't surprise me if he popped into SEC territory eventually.

There was a rumor of him coming to UGA to become the DC after Grantham left.

Frick Grantham.

I'm not sure either. He deserves to be a head coach somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Florida next year if Muschamp doesn't make it. He has said in the past that A&M(he is an Aggie) is his dream job though so we will always have a shot at stealing him. I'm also not sure that Sumlin won't take an NFL job after 2015.

Mark Snyder was the head coach of Marshall at one point.

Jake Spavital is a head coach in waiting

Kirby Smart takes over for $aban, after the cancer that is Kiffin rots the process from the inside.

all kidding aside I'd lay the odds that A&M ever hires Kiffin at about 4872 billion to 1. Chad Morris (alum), Tim Deruyter (former DC whose daughter now attends A&M), or one of Sumlin's assistants will almost certainly be our next coach.

And I really don't think we'll ever hire a failed coach that is a coordinator at another school. I'm not sure we'd even look at a coordinator tbh (it's what we told Morris), but I don't even see how a guy like Kiffen would possibly even be considered.

This. Kiffin would be a horrific fit. It will be Morris, DeRuyter or Spav IMO. I could see Spav moving to a mid level type job then becoming an SEC HC down the line

DeRuyter is doing good at Fresno. I think 95% of the fan base would be behind that hire.

Biggest question I would have about DeRuyter would be his ability to continue to recruiting momentum in TX. Morris would be a home run obviously and a perfect fit.

Rhett will never be an SEC head coach. He is a system coach. Those lose games as head coaches.
