re: SEC Offensive Stats (per SEC stat cat)

1. Florida (70.0%)
2. Alabama (65.9%)
3. LSU (45.0%)
11. Tennessee (24.4%)
That is an insane drop-off from the top 2 to number 3.
The difference between Alabama's offense in % of scoring drives and LSU's is slightly larger than the difference between LSU's and Tennessee's. (20.9% to 20.6%)

Shitting on Arkansas, Tennessee and Auburn isn’t impressive to people who know the game.

LSU has been an interesting offense so far.
They seem to either go 3 and out or get a giant explosive play to Marshal. There isn't much in-between.

but nobody on LSU's schedule last year was any better defensively than Georgia this season
Georgia is overrated, like every year. they beat up on subpar teams then get destroyed by the likes of alabama and lsu. defense of theirs isn't special. we exploited that last year, yall exploited that this year. its the same story with them on repeat

AND all SEC teams. No walkovers.

Having a roster full of experienced players at all 3 levels who will be highly sought after in future NFL draft playing under a scheme that has proven itself year after year is, though.
You are welcome to share which 2019 or 2020 defenses are better top to bottom than the 2020 Georgia defense, though.

Which defense was better than 2020 Georgia? Not really arguing either way, it's early and it's impossible to compare the 2 anyway really, but nobody on LSU's schedule last year was any better defensively than Georgia this season.
The only offensive team Georgia has played worth a shite is Bama so I don’t think you can make this claim yet. LSU played both Georgia and Clemson last year who had better defenses and proved more than Georgia has this year.

That's kind of the point. Nobody else has exploited it.
LSU put up 37 pts and 6.50 YPP (while shutting it down in the 3rd). The next highest outcome was 17 pts and 5.35 YPP by Florida.
Alabama put up 41 pts and 7.42 YPP. We'll see what Florida does, but I think it's reasonable to assume nobody is going to come close to those figures against them this season.

LSU played both Georgia
The 2020 Georgia defense is basically the 2019 Georgia defense + another year of experience. At the very worst they end up being equals.

Clemson last year
Gave up 387 to Virginia and 516 to Ohio State heading into the LSU game. Good defense, but definitely with holes at LB and S (as everyone noted going into that game).
LSU's offense last year was insane. Would have scored on anybody they played in 2019 or 2020 (or 2000 or 1997 for that matter). Time will tell if Alabama's stays that consistent.

Yeah, you don't know shite, George! You never put your hand in the dirt!
Back in the good old days we'd smoke cigarettes at halftime, run wedge blocks on kickoffs and didn't let a concussion stop us from getting on the field!

2019 Georgia was more sound than this squad kid. Clemson too.
Scramble to the box scores and pick something that you think fits, but ppl in the game know this as fact.

Nope. 2020 right now is way better with fewer missed tackles and assignments.

Once he figures out how to get that VHS of his 1984 senior year on the internet you'll see.
