this thread was started by an LSU fan I am shocked. 1/9 really has ruined a once proud and noble fanbase and turned them into deep fried and breaded hot dog type snack food.

You have no frickin clue what you're talking about. Bama officials voluntarily presented violations gift wrapped on a silver platter to the NCAA. In fact, the "violations" were so lame and unlikely to have never been discovered that Alabama would have likely skated if they didn't rat themselves out. The fact that a few players happened to be involved during a time that barely fell within the 5 year probation window is the only reason there was any penalty or "probation" at all. Nebraska recently uncovered identical "violations" and received zero penalties.

Let's see: SEC baseball tourney in B.ham. SEC Media Day in B.ham. SEC league headquarters in B.ham. Yet, taking away the conspiracy BS...which I admit is ridiculous....it's common sense to see why other league schools could perceive of a pro bama bias. Having said that, Media Days is perfect where it is now. I enjoy watching all the bama rednecks make fools of themselves swooning over little Nicky when the King makes his grand entrance.
