Any chance the SEC gets 5 national seeds? If not who are they?

No chance. There's never even been 4, but that will probably change this year.

UF, a&am, and state are locks. USC probably. Ole Miss would be a national seed most years with the season they have but end up hosting. Paired with the Starkville regional

Doesn't the NCAA make sure two hosts from the same conference, are not paired together?

personally, I believe MSU will be paired with USM, and Ole Miss will get Louisville

We will be paired with usm or ole miss. We played UF in a super before. With the amount of ACC & SEC schools some will be paired together. Plus who wants 3 Mississippi school is Omaha

We got paired with Florida after both teams hosted a regional?
ETA: Just looked it up. We played Florida in a super in 2011 but we didn't host a regional that year.

if the NCAA doesn't let USM host, which is quite possible since we are the 'Sipp, I wonder if they go to Starkville or Oxford for regional play. those guys have fared well against both schools recently in midweek action. would be interesting to play them with our weekend pitchers.

The Ncaa did us real dirty one year in the CWS putting all 3 SEC teams in same 4 team bracket. Nothing would shock me.

When? I didn't know that.

I still think, there is NO way MSU and Ole Miss can meet prior to Omaha.
If USM hosts, they will be paired with one of y'all, or LSU(assuming we host). IMHO

Nope. Not since the current format started in '99. The SEC had 3 in 2011 (Florida, South Carolina, Vanderbilt) and 2012 (Florida, LSU, South Carolina). Never 4.
ETA: And neither did any other conference.

just went look at the Warren Nolan Live RPI and of the top 15 RPI's only one is not an SEC or ACC team. Texas Tech at 10 is the only one, but we all know that someone on the west coast will get a host.

I expect 3 national seeds.
It seems like everyone has MSU as a lock, someone explain to me why that's a done deal, when SC is 0.5 games behind them in conference, but 1 better game overall?
Not discounting MSU, just not seeing a huge difference there.
Also, will be interested to see who they pair in the super regionals. It seems like, regional usually match up with national seeds from other conferences, but I don't know if that will be possible with some many quality teams.
Carolina, Vandy, LSU, are all likely regional hosts. They will have to scramble to keep these schools from pairing up with other SEC schools, or either they are going to send someone packing for a distant super regional.
