Aggie liberation from UT was a big deal to them. And that's fine. But A&M started as a college of UT, built from one kitty of state grant money. It was quicker and easier to go ahead and open up a cow college while building the main one in Austin.

Most of you rant posters are probably starting realize that most of what UTrans does is "to counter" what A&M does, including coming to the SEC.
