OU and tx play opposite teams. Here’s who they play ranked by this list:

1 tx
2 OU
3 OU
4 OU
5 OU
6 OU
7 OU
8 tx
9 tx
10 OU
11 tx
12 tx
13 OU
14 tx
15 tx
16 tx

OU plays every team above them except 1. Iron sharpens iron, so it’s gonna be a fun season of great football. The shorthorns got the short bus because they’re special

List looks right and LSU literally drew the best schedule we could have hoped for.

3 home
4 home
8 home
9 road
12 road
13 road
14 road
16 home

No lamenting from us. 11th seems right. This is a tough conference.

Not a horrible list.

I might flip UK and AU, SC and UF, OM and LSU or Tenn and OU.... but I might not either. Everyone looks to be in the right general area.

LSU at 5 seems a little high to me.

LSU has a ton of question marks on paper

Gamecocks too high.

Did TEX draw the easiest schedule in the league this season .... their first?

I'll be at the game in Ann Arbor.

In life being shitty usually doesn’t pay off. However, the SEC in making up initial schedules used the past 11 years worth of records to determine strength of schedule. Since tx has sucked all but one or two of those years they got an easy draw. And since OU dod so well they got the harder one.

At the same time, some SEC teams are risers who haven’t fared so well in those 11 years so it just happens to be OU is playing them (Mizzou, Ole Miss for example). Using their method those teams weren’t listed as high, kinda like tx.

I can see their initial logic with schedules but they likely should have put some adjustments in place based on recency. My understanding is they ranked all 16 teams this way and sorted them. Then used that list to make schedule. Some of our opponents were sorted much lower but happen to have good teams right now. And they will play the same teams in 25 just reversing home/away.

In this inaugural season, Oklahoma is right to be matched vs Alabama. Blue vs blue. Texas can play the mids.

Dare say where Alabama would be ranked had Saban decided to stay another season (#1 I say).

No they didn't. Explain Florida's or Vandys schedules.

I have no idea how we’ll be this year. And I’m not falling for the preseason hype this year put out by the program. Show me.
