When did Oklahoma last have an impact on the national championship picture?
Last year. No.6 is closer to the national championship than 5-5

We’re not going to let any Yankee carpet baggers have an input on the logo for the SOUTHEASTERN conference.

LOL! Look up "Battle of the Big Reds"

YOU do your homework. For example, I know Georgia won the national title in 1980

How good is your memory.... boy? Mine, not that great because as an LSU fan I can only recall two recent times LSU played OU. How about you OU fans go piss up a rope.

OU will never win a division title. Period. LSU took the foot off the gas and still scored at will

Mizzou won 2 division titles in its first 3 years in the conference. How long will it take Oklahoma and Texas to do the same?

You've got 2 too many teams on that one.

Best thing about UO-TU joining is the rest of the SEC putting their differences aside and collectively shitting on them

I don't want them to join (especially Texas), but no longer being the new kid on the block would be a silver lining for a very dark cloud.

Assuming we keep the divisional format...longer than that.

Ou may beat LSU or Bama one week, but will lose the next to State or Arky.

They already struggle with Kstate, Baylor, Tech, etc. Although they will claim it's a focus issue.

But in this league, it's not about focus, it's about attrition.

I never liked that LSU took their open date before Bama. I wanted it after Bama.

Hell, Bama struggles with State and Arky the week after LSU, because of the beating the players take in that game. Then you follow it up with a team that, ok the record is bad, but they are just as physical with their starters, but don't have the depth. So you must hope that your depth can outlast theirs after a brutal game.

Now do that over a season.

It's not just one game, it's every game. Can your depth win it in the end? Hopefully you can destroy their will before that issue arises, but you can't count on it.

Mizzou was placed in the East, so had an easier road to navigate, but they adapted better than any expansion team in history.

Don't expect the same from the two new fish. Even if Auburn and Bama get shoved into the East.

On channel 30 every Saturday morning at our house growing up. Didnt matter who was playing or if anybody was actually watching it, that game was generally on.

Mizzou did have an easier road in the East, but I'm not so sure they adapted better than A&M. Those Manziel A&M teams were pretty good, maybe good enough to win the East if Mizzou and A&M had swapped divisions.

I love how you can see the future.

Did you predict going 5-5 as well
