The consequences need to occur during the game, not after.

Do you understand that Kiffin did it egregiously because he wants the rule changed?

He did it about 40 times in our meaningless non conference games. To make a point. And now that conference play has started he is actually doing it less than our opponents.

He trolled the whole operation and he's getting the rule changed at his insistence so that teams can't slow down his tempo offense.

And you chodes think he got the rug pulled from under him.

People are so retarded

He hasn’t needed to do it in SEC games. Go look at the offenses he’s played in conference. How many have run tempo against him? When your opponent isn’t moving the ball, you don’t need to fake injuries. But like clockwork, every time a team hits a big play and tries to hurry up, an ole miss defender falls down

He wasn’t proving a point in Knoxville 2 years ago. His players were taking dives to slow down Tennessee’s tempo.

Per instance? That is the only thing that might help. And honestly, I don't think even that will matter in an important game.

Lane Kiffin intentionally got this legislated after it’s been ignored for 15 years. Kudos.

This. We have people paying girls 5k+ for feet pics.

Easiest solution is if player goes down, he’s out the rest of the possession. If you’re so hurt you need to stop play, you’re too hurt to come back after one play.

Trot out some scrub and have him collapse

Yep, this makes more sense. It deters this act and also protect a player from returning too soon !

Exactly. In order to get the rule changed.

I get why they wouldn't want to make a kid who fakes the injury sit out any of the game. That punishes the player and not the coaches. This shite would really never end if that was the case. The coaches are calling that shite, they obviously are the ones who need to be punished and not the players.

I’m getting the feeling that most people don’t actually want this out of football. They just didn’t want Kiffin to keep drawing attention to how absurd it is that we’ve never attempted to regulate it. Sad.
