2nd Tier: UGA, OM, UT, UK
3rd Tier: LSU, MSU, UF, Ark, Mizzo
Lower Tier: A$M, Auburn, SC, Vandy

Your groupings are problematic
Here are the accurate ones:
Tier 1:
Bama, Georgia
Tier 2:
Tennessee, Ole Miss, State, Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas
Tier 3:
Florida, A&M
Tier 4:
Auburn, Mizzou, Vandy, SC

I don’t think LSU is Tier 2 at this point. It is possible but daunting this year.
7 or 8 wins keeps us Tier 3 and 9 wins moves us to Tier 2. Less than 7 drops us to the bottom.

5-0: Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia
4-0: Tennessee

What does it matter? Unless you cheer for bama, we're all just playing for 2nd place.

Who is this "we" you are referring to? About five of us are playing for second place and Aubie isn't in that discussion.

I don't know. With how bi-polar most teams have been, I'm not sure I'd count anybody out at this point in the season.

You're right. The only team that Ole Miss struggled to beat was ranked in the top 10.
