The school claims it, I claim it, The ncaa recognizes it. Arkansas won a Championship in '64. If Bama got screwed in 66 because Wallace stood in the schoolhouse door (That was the explanation I was given) then those are the breaks. Arkansas admitted a black man before any other school in the South.

Yeah, but Bama lost by 3 in OT after missing 4 FGs. LSU lost by 21 and crossed the 50 once all game (for 1 play).
I think most objective observers understood which team was better that year.
