I think Bart Starr is tremendous guy with a lot of character, but did he have some kind of mythical career at Alabama?

No love for Barrett Jones? 3 National Championships at 3 different positions. That's unheard of.

it might change people's mind about him being just a game manager
most people stopped thinking that after he won his first BCS championship and was named MVP.

I'd add Snake Stabler to the team just so he and TM7 could party like its 1999.
And Pork Chop Womack (#All-Time SEC name team).

Snake, Broadway and Bart - SB champs. What you got?

Isn't there any category where Danny is far up the list above Peyton...wait, I found one. Career interceptions. Danny is tied for #11, while Manning is tied at #41 all time.
Kind of left off a rather important statistic don't you think?
Danny - 114 TDs
Manning - 89
He also had the record for passing efficiency nationally for many years (now 5th or 6th), only Tebow posted better numbers in the SEC.
And yes, Manning has 376 more passing yards than Danny in his career, BUT it took him 197 more pass attempts.

No, he wasn't just a game manager for the San Francisco 49ers... He made the Pro Bowl 8 times and was 1st Team All-Pro 3 times. He was on great teams, but he didn't manage games, he made that offense click.
FWIW, I expect to see Nick Saban letting AJ McCarron take a step forward and have a lot of control of the offense this year. I expect to see a more "wide open" offense, more-so than we have so far while Nick Saban has been at Alabama. If he does, it might change people's mind about him being just a game manager (depending on how successful he is).
In title games AJ has been way more than a game manager though. I'd say he was a Field General in 2012, step up. But yeah, not sure I'd put him on the All SEC Dream Team, if he wins another ring, goes unbeaten, and has another amazing TD:INT ratio then he's at least in the discussion though.

QB. Archie Manning, Joe Namath, Bert Jones, Steve Spurrier, YA Tittle, Kenny Stabler and even Peyton Manning are far superior to Cam.
This had to have been the dream team of a ten year old.
Don't want to waste any more time dismantling the rest of the OP dream.

Your special teams are awful. Tiffin?? You really think he was the best kicker in SEC history?
You also left out one of the great return specialists of all time, Dante Hall.
