YOU FORGOT ONE!!!

A&M - who could forget that magical year when Hitler invaded Poland and Judy Garland's classic performance in The Wizard of Oz.

We talking about just football here or are we including baseball, basketball, etc? Because SC has a few we can still brag about IMHO but hey, I'm biased so whatever.

You don't fit in his response-thread narrative. He would prefer you take your facts and move along.

Everyone knows the rules before the season starts.

So you really think LSU wouldn't claim 2011 if they'd finished #1 in the AP?

You should probably add that it has been 20 years since UT won an SEC title.

The gap between Bryant's last title at Bama (1979) and Stallings (1992) was 13 years.

The gap between Stallings (1992) and Saban's first (2009) was 17 years.

Just to be pedantic: The gap between Bryant and Stallings is 12 years since BAMA won the championship in 79 and 92 so neither of those years would count. 1980 to 1991, inclusive, is 12 years.

Same with the gap between Stallings and Saban. It was 16 years.

ALABAMA - obviously, yes. The gold standard.

AUBURN - yes, as much as I don't enjoy typing it. Still have some wiggle room

LSU - yes, the fact that there are 3 in the last 16 years still allows for some wiggle room, but LSU will need to win another one sooner rather than later.

FLORIDA- Same as LSU. 2 since 2006. You have permission to continue bowing your chest out. Like LSU, however, Florida needs to win one sooner rather than later before it starts wearing thin.

You kind of screwed up the math here.

Florida has a title after LSU in 2008 and there have been 4 teams to win at least one title in the last 11 years.

The 2003 BCS crystal football sitting in LSUs trophy case says otherwise jackass.

Just the one people actually care about; i.e. nothing UofSC is good at.
