Ok Mr. Business man. Its a hypothetical conversation here, thus, why I included a CUSA team. Relax. According to you then, no new team should grace the SEC because of TV markets and revenue. Build it and they will come, right? FSU would make the SEC millions and millions and if you cant admit this, youre drunk.

Upvote (even though I despise Texas and Oklahoma - at least your divisional alignment makes sense).

Hypothetically, if the expansions were happening again, who would you choose to be the newest SEC team?

Seriously please

Don't worry, I just included that because my sister in law is a UK grad and I'd love to see that rivalry be a conference game every year just to see her go nuts

I hate tu, but they would bring a lot to the table as far as prestige and history, and more importantly they should be available.

1. You understand nothing of modern-day expansion and the reasons behind it. It is about new TV markets.

2. Every fricking one of your posts contain something about Texas. Oh, excuse me "tu" giggle giggle.

3. I do not think you are an Aggie.

Why do we refuse to understand the basic principals of expansion in this paradigm of CFB? FSU isn't even an option now.

Why do so many people refuse to understand this:

Can't fans ignore the financial aspect and just think about what matchups they would like to see?

As a fan, am I supposed to see college football as entertainment, or as a financial endeavor?

As a college football fan whose concern with college football is primarily entertainment, am I not allowed to consider which teams I would find the most entertaining to have in the conference?

If it's a financial consideration, should we consider programs that would bring in large market states, or national appeal?

Fresno State would bring in the California, how entertaining would that be? How about Notre dame, wouldn't that make financial sense?

Am I wrong in thinking that NC State and Virginia would provide little to no entertainment value for me and therefore would not be good choices?

We're not ALL accountants out here, some of us actually like to consider the actual GAMES ON THE FIELD.

Notre Dame would be the biggest slam dunk expansion school possible.

Hell yea they make financial sense.

Umm.. Yes. Both of those schools recruiting would go through the roof if they joined the SEC. They would also provide an even bigger foothold into a good recruiting grounds for other SEC East teams which should improve their overall quality as well.

I'm glad that you realize that nobody gives a shite about your school and their weird cult traditions. the SEC needed a big texas school for money reasons and the SEC got its big payday because you were added. With that being said, if the SEC does decide to expand again it needs to bring in some athletic powers, not simply teams that will expand the tv footprint.
