Losing divisions isn't so bad as we didn't have divisions prior to expanding to 12 teams.

The current number is just too unwieldy.

Missouri doesn't fit.

But you should see that Mizzou has been ranked the last two years in college football. Why not get rid of those who are dead weight in football? There you go! You make a lot of sense!

My question was more along the lines of geography.

Do you struggle with it?

The issue is the scheduling format. Creating pods allows those rivalries to be kept & cycle through everybody else.

But, from the SEC's history, it's about IMPOSSIBLE to figure out, somehow. keeping all rivalries & playing everybody H/A in 4 years.

IMHO, people want to see annual rivalries OVER seeing certain teams only when the rotation brings them on the schedule.

id argue a select few teams want that, and the other teams get left screwed over. When you decide to expand it means that Bama/Auburn/Georgia/Florida/Tennessee have to give up their hell bent nature on certain rivalries because you have to be fair. The current model for example screws SC out of ANY of their rivalry games to help the mentioned teams keep theirs. That is an unsustainable model and quite frankly a silly model.

Protected rivalries should have been the reason to not expand, but seeing as we did such it is a consequence that you might not get to play them every year.

South Carolina/ Missouri has been fun since 2012.

Please get rid of this silly Arkansas/Missouri scheduling.

Oh I didn’t realize college football started in the 2000s.

And I’d put my degree from UT over your shite LSU degree (even if you did attend) any day lol.

I don’t think conferences will matter much at all in the future. It will be more like NFL

Correct. He realized the playing field was leveling and wanted out.

NIL doesn't level the playing field as you will find out in the
coming years , unless some real changes are made.
But I think what really disturbed Saban was the raised potential
for one and done , not being able to keep a roster together
and develop players.
If you wish to believe the GOAT feared a level playing field , go for it.

How come Mizzou's record has improved a lot because of this? Top football programs were getting away with cheating. Mizzou tried to compete but got caught just about every time trying to keep top players from Missouri HS from leaving the State. Now Drinkwitz is able to use NIL and the new transfer portal rules to compete against top teams. More competitive overall is why SEC teams are beating each other up.

I didn’t mind adding Texas or Oklahoma however, it proved that Sankey isn’t the leader that this conference needs exhibit a the terrible scheduling format.

And that's where you live in your own fabricated bubble of self-righteousness. Which is evil in and of itself.

And on another hand - you are right. Your football team sucks, has always, and always will.

Just go to bed, here I'll get you started..

Oh mighty Aggie Lordship who art in College Station
Hallowed be thy logs that fell and killed people
Thy national championships be plenty
Thy Hall of Champions not be empty
In Kyle as it is in DKR...

I hope Sarge can save your soul, cause many of y'all are unknowingly counting on it. It's called idol worship.

Good night.

I grew up in a small (3A) Central Texas town. In school pretty much all of the D-Bags were Longhorn fans.

Most of the Aggie fans were good people.

No, but there's those that debate Mizz.'s geography & if they're Southern.

2 straight years SEC hasn’t won the title and the BiG did. How is this keeping up with the BIG?
