This whole expansion thing is trimming of the fat, in the end every team worth money to tv execs will band together and do a collective bargaining it’ll be a new league with autonomous scheduling and it’ll look like nfl jr

Well... to be more precise (and perhaps pedantic), they've agreed to not call them pods or divisions because of the public backlash. But that's what the setup will effectively be in some shape or form.

I agree.

And there will be some bigtime gnashing of teeth when the music stops.

But Cfp contraction will never happen. And the two super conferences should just have separate Div playoffs to decide.
