Well, the ones on the gulf coast and south Florida. The central Florida games were postponed. Any other stupid questions?

UF is nothing but a bunch of vaginas. When did they become so soft? It's pathetic really.

Florida wanted the $$$$ and rest so they were never reasonable with this situation. It was Saturday or the highway if it was true that LSU was willing to buy out their game vs South Alabama.

Aren't you losing millions by not playing the game anyway?

If they would have decided on Monday, or Tuesday AM to move the game to another location, there would have been plenty of time to work out the details.

Of course by Thursday afternoon, it is too late

UCF and Tulane had a mutual open date in the future. LSU and Florida don't. FAIL

And foley knew all of this Tuesday, nothing was different then than what transpired and he intentionally kicked the cab until it was too late. UF did not want to play that game hurt.

I am pretty sure the games are insured against cancellation. They stood to make more money by being giant vaginas.

In 2005 Hurricane Rita was bearing down on Louisiana as a Cat 5 hurricane. It made landfall on Saturday morning. The game that was scheduled to play in BR that Saturday was moved to be played in BR on Monday.

LSU lost an overtime thriller to Tennessee in Les Miles’ first game in Tiger Stadium.

Why couldn’t Florida do the same, schedule the game for Monday?

For starters, LSU didn't reschedule that game for Monday night. Mike Slive mandated it.

Now it can certainly be debated whether or not the Florida game should be played Monday...and I actually think it should be if possible. But don't come in here acting like the 2005 game was played on Monday night because Skip Bertman was some proactive, forward thinker.

Fact: Just like Florida, Bertman refused to move the game. Now, you'll want to justify why he held that position...the moved ASU game...but the fact remains, Bertman stated publicly that the game would not be moved. And he sure as hell didn't suggest traveling to Knoxville.

Fact: Bertman wanted to play Sunday night. Fulmer and Mike Hamilton absolutely refused. Fulmer even went as far as to threaten to forfeit.

Fact: The game was played on Monday night, against the stated wishes of Bertman, because that was Slive's decree. At no time did Bertman suggest Monday.

So to answer your question...why can't the game be played Monday in Gainesville?

Sankey has the authority to make that call.

I believe LSU offered to play the game with no one in the stands in Gainsville on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

If LSU can pull it off after Rita which followed right on the heels of Katrina, UF has no excuse here.

But Logan stressed that a decision to reschedule must take place far in advance.

How do those conditions not in large measure not also apply to the Game in Columbia?
