Hell, "Atlanta" is a synonym for "SEC Title Game" both amongst SEC fans, players and coaches and the national media. Atlanta is one of the elite 5-6 cities in the country in hosting huge sports events.

I think they should alternate between ATL and NO. When the West team is the home team, it should be in NO. When the East team is the home team, it should be in ATL. I'm kind of tired of every damn SEC thing being either in Atlanta or Birmingham.

The only SEC things in Birmingham are Media Days and the Baseball Tournament.
The basketball tournament rotates between Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Tampa, etc.

Besides, what other conference talks about the host city of their championship game as a synonym for the championship game?

Let's be honest, the venue needs to be accessible to the following schools
- Alabama
- Auburn
- LSU
- Georgia
- Florida
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Mizzou
Mizzou doesn't count because they are our pledge and the Georgia Dome is by far the most localized stadium for the others as a group.

In 3 years Atlanta will have a stadium as good or better than Jerry World that is actually in the middle of a city and not in the middle of a random large parking lot/suburb.
Also it will actually be close to the majority of SEC schools.
And finally, it will be in the South.
