A&M seems to have turned the corner on a horrible season, just in time for the bowl. Congratulations on the huge win, sorry you haven’t been able to make the trip to ATL and your 1b will be watching as well.

How pissed will you be if LSU pulls off a huge upset (highly unlikely, but they have a better chance than any other SEC team)?

Is Georgia worried about Alabama I wonder? Maybe a little worried about playing Tennessee again? Anyways, congrats on your easy no-challenge SEC title

So why not sit guys for ooc games and focus only on sec schedule if ooc losses don’t count against you

Because 8-4 most likely isn't getting you into the playoffs would be my guess

So you'd rather Bama play UGA, even though LSU beat them and finished with the same conference record?

Did they play the exact same schedule?

Actually yes it is because LSU had one win and no loss to Bama. Crazy how math works.

If we didn't have divisions, it would work the way you're talking (sort of) - all 3 teams have the same conference record. Tennessee, having wins over both Alabama and LSU, would go - not the highest ranked team.

Highest ranked would only matter if the three teams were 1-1 vs each other.

This is silly. The rules have been in place for years. UGA has beaten every team in the east. So are you saying the best team in the west didn't win it? All Alabama had to do was beat LSU to be in the title game. They didn't.

A FSU team that finished regular season RANKED in top 25? That FSU team? It's not like they were app state.

If nonconference games were to be included to determine SECCG participants then forget about playing any more P5 opponents worth their salt.

This really is one of the stupidest posts I have ever seen on here.

Expansion will probably eliminate divisions so you will probably get your wish but only conference games should count.

Probably will in a couple years with expansion. And you don’t have to be 8-4 we could all most likely beat someone like southern, or grambling with backups. I hope we don’t have to play starters the full game for our opener against mercer next year. I just see the college game headed more to the pro format where conference champs are more critical for playoffs.

in 10 years, a&m has never been to atlanta to represent the west so maybe you need the "rules" explained to you.
