The only scenario that would probably keep the Tigers out of a BCS bowl, if they do indeed win out, would be Auburn winning out and then getting upset in the SEC championship game.

In that case, the SEC champion (Florida or South Carolina) would be the SEC's automatic invitee to a BCS bowl, and a one-loss Auburn team would likely grab the at-large spot.

Wouldn't this put an 11-1 LSU into the top 4 of the BCS guaranteeing them a spot?

Luckily our final four games are by far the easiest part of the schedule.

After that will you be giving Saban and the team hand jobs or blow jobs?

I hate to ruin your apparent "fantasy", but no.

I never said "I know we wouldn't have beaten them with a healthy Richardson."

I also believe that OUR head coach outwitted Nick Saban this past Saturday. But it doesn't take my opinion to prove that Saban is a great coach.

What I am saying is Bama is a better offensive team with a healthy TR. I don't believe they'd have beaten us anyway had he not gotten banged up- because as good as he is, he doesn't play defense. LSU found a way to gouge the Bama defense in the second half- as good or better a second half of offensive football they've produced since 2007....

4 games: He's including Memphis from this last weekend. Have to agree with him, it's by far the easiest part of their schedule.

Auburn is winning out and the winner of LSU-Arkansas is going to the Sugar.

LSU isn't beating Arkansas.

Arkansas goes to the Sugar.

I'm including Memphis in that Final four game stretch.

Memphis, Ole Miss, Vandy, Ketucky.

We've already played the Memphis game, but it's still part of the winnable stretch of games.

No, we aren't...not at the moment.

That won't happen until Nov. 27th. You'll have to wait your turn.

They won't beat Bama either. Another disappointing year.

IF South Carolina loses out or finishes 7-5 and Mississippi State finishes 8-4 wouldn't that put us in a New Years Day Bowl game? Gator or Outback???

LSU still has a lot of work to do before then. Ole Miss is not a gimme. And Arkansas certainly isn't.

I think LSU has learned it's lesson in regards to ARKANSAS a couple years ago and hopefully will not be a repeat offender.

Yeah because we did lose so much critical personnel from the team that BEAT Ar-kansas last year. I love how cocky a team can beat that hasn't been a national title contender in the BCS era. I do salute you though, knowing that its never gonna get better than this but still being a fan. Its sad to think that after this year Mallets gone and back to the "hope to be bowl eligible" discussions you go.
