Never thought about this. Full swing with the 56 and 60 are really the only two I consistently hit poorly. When I need less distance I prefer choking down on a club and taking an easier full swing that doing a 1/2 or 3/4 swing. With my approach wedge and above it normally works out fine. Never really occurred to me to do that instead of full swing shots with the 56 and 60.

Without the 56 and 60 my highest lofted club is my approach wedge at 47. Full swing with that goes 130-135. I'm looking to add two wedges below that to replace the 56 and 60.

My 56 and 60 are by far the worse clubs in my bag. For the life of me I can't hit a decent full swing shot with either club. They are old Vokey's. I bought them used and I've probably had them for at least 15 years. The club face and grooves are pretty worn out also the shafts are original to the club. Two years ago I got fitted and bought Callaway Paradym irons. I hit them really well. The shafts are True Temper x100 x-stiff.

When the course is wet I tend to hit them really fat but my normal miss is blading the shite out of the ball and sending it well over the green. My approach wedge is 47 degrees. I hit it around 130 yards. Then there's a large gap to my 56 which I hit 100 yards. I'm thinking of getting a 52 and a 56 and just dropping the 60. Is it crazy to spend the money for a fitting for just wedges? For my wedges I've never paid attention to loft angle, bounce, grind, etc but I want to improve my game from 120 or so and in. Maybe a fitting would help.

My gains (mostly unrealized) so far in 2026 are a bit more than my gross salary through July. Still have a couple decades of work ahead of me but hopefully there will be a comfortable retirement in my future.

Mt grandparents lived there for a long time before my grandfather passed away. The biggest thing I took from them living there was listening to how much he hated the annoying harpies from the HOA. I have my roth and rollover traditional IRA in VTSAX. It seems like over time VIGAX outperforms VTSAX. Would it be a good idea to change to VIGAX? I'm 43 so I'll likely have another 20 years of work and contributions to the roth.

To be on topic my first season as a season ticket holder was Jay's first season. I have two programs from his first game that I want to get signed.

Is it a large corporate dental office? My wife is a dental hygienist and she has worked for a few huge practices. Every time she was expected to upsell additional services and products. Now she works for a small local practice with one doctor. No upselling on anything just simply doing what the patient actually needs. Find a different dentist.
