That was A&M, very up and down. Good for them making it to the 16. That one game does not define what the conference was able to do this year.

Wasn’t there 8? The 10th best team in the conf is in the semis of the NIT.

Moronic topic...The sec will continue to get better and we'll see 7 to 8 teams in the dance again next year.

When 8 teams from the SEC made the dance, the SEC was very highly rated by the selection committee. Hence the word overrated.

Why? Didn't have an team seeded above #4.
The SEC has performed almost exactly to seeding expectations in this tournament. Lots of solid but not elite teams.
