Nope not at all, besides there are other ways in addition to wins (ie championships) to measure programs.
The funniest thing about this whole thread though is that you see a thread about all-time SEC basketball wins and win percentages and you think, "turn it into a thread about football and maybe Alabama fans will be mad!" Sad little obsessed head you have there.

It is a terrible way to judge programs in both football and basketball.
The hawg made it as a response thread, and hogs like riding bama dick, so the thread went exactly as I expected.

Not really.
Kentucky is way out ahead in #1
Arkansas is way out ahead in #2. The limit in years hurts the #'s for Arkansas. Arkansas still has not lost 1,000 games and probably will not for another 5-10 years. Depending on the health of the program.
While total wins is close with Alabama and Missouri, the total losses are not.
Losses
Arkansas: 924
Alabama: 1,012
Missouri: 1,133
This is what makes the gap wider than what the percentage shows. A gap that likely will never close that much.
Two programs in the league have yet to reach 1,000 losses
1. Kentucky: 687 losses
2. Arkansas: 924 losses
You can say all that and that's fine, but the fact is UK's win percentage is 12.3% better than Arkansas' win percentage. Arkansas' win percentage is 12.4% better than 13th place Georgia. So the gap in win percentage between 1 and 2 is basically the same as 2 and 13. Kentucky is way out in front in every metric.

It's a terrible way if it's the only metric you use, but it's not terrible as part of a greater formula.

This isn't news to anyone, we still lead Florida in many categories though, but one of the most important ones that we don't is NCs. So I agree that Florida should be 2 just off having one more NC. Lets not go overboard just because you hate the OP's metric.

Florida didn't make the NCAA tournament until 1987. I'd have a hard time saying they are the "clear" #2 all-time. Certainly have helped themselves immensely in the last two decades though.

And, making the tournament was damn near impossible because only the conference champion used to get in, and being in Kentucky's conference sucked balls.
How many tournaments would Arky have gotten in competing against UK in the same conference?

All fair points. It's not like 30 years ago was yesterday, but when we're talking about all-time, you yourself said that's only 30% of their history. So for their first 70% they didn't make the tournament.

So for their first 70% they didn't make the tournament.
And being in the same conference as Kentucky sucked

No, I understand the point. Yes, Kentucky has a very large gap between #2 Arkansas.
My point was that because of the low number of total games Arkansas has played the gap would continue to widen as the years go on if Arkansas continues at its 18 win per season average, as it has averaged over the course of its history.
I was simply explaining how total years of the program hurt Arkansas in that regard.
Arkansas was 63.7% prior to the 2016 season. Simply going 16-16 and 23-8 the last two years has nudged the program to 64%. The needle will move greater for Arkansas than it will for the other programs.

Don't bring up all-time SEC baseball wins to LSU fans when it comes to Alabama, it'll REALLY upset them.
Alabama being at or near the top in wins in the 3 biggest sports is the least surprising thing ever to anyone who's paid attention.

And yet we have the same number of national titles as LSU...

Not to mention, LSU has produced:
NBA Hall of Famers Bob Pettit, Pete Maravich, Shaquille O'Neal, as well as Chris Jackson, Glen Davis, Stromile Swift, etc.
bama does have Reggie King and Latrell Sprewell though, so there's that...
You left off Robert Horry...and he has more NBA Championship rings than all the LSU guys you mentioned combined...

It shows how bad a metric it is
Is Bama really a better baseball program than LSU?
Is Texas really a better football program than Bama?
