I bet Mizzou will find a way to win 8 games or so in the league.

Zero chance in this league this year. Not without Jontay. They have Tilmon (who still was just MEH last year) and NOBODY.

I think that is possible but I don't think that means they still aren't pretty close to a lock to make the NCAAT. They return 3 of their top 5 scorers and add Johnson and Nembhard from a team that was a 6 seed last year.

It'd be a pretty huge disappointment if they missed the tournament.

I'd be pretty shocked if we missed the tournament this season, and I think we should be ranked. I'm worried about our PG situation so I don't think we'll be elite but we'll score a lot of points this season with Allen, Hudson, and Stone

Seriously though, I really feel for Porter and Mizzou fans. That just sucks.

Maybe, but that's the high end of reasonable expectation. I have no idea who will score points on that roster.

I think the top six are all solid tournament teams and top seven seeds but if you want to be insulted go ahead

Yeah, I don't see it. Martin should be in discussion for SEC Coty if he can pull it off though imo.

If Arky can put up 31 points, then LSU can put up 40

Can Bamas offense score more than 41 on LSU's elite d? VERY unlikely!

Tua isn't even that good

Any qb would look great if you have a track star we to throw a bubble screen to, or a super star te that can run a 4.4 with no one around him. Tua's accuracy isn't good when the man he's throwing to is COVERED!
Who has the athletes to match Bamas sppes and athleticism? We Do! Folks we are w8nning this game fare and sqare.

Cuonzo will muck up enough games with this rag tag group to get close to .500. It will be 18 ugly games but I'll bet they'll find a way to avoid playing on Wednesday in Nashville.

Their roster is bottom 3 in the league without Jontay but I think they will still pick off several of the mid-level teams in the league at Mizzou and find a way to win a couple road games.

I think you are confused, you are a vol fan and because of that you must hate Cuonzo

Missouri's home court advantage is pretty huge in SEC play, I assume due to the traveling distance. I believe it's about 79% of Mizz' SEC wins have come at home which should easily be #1 in conference during that period

I see no reason why Mizzouri can't pull off ~8 of the following winnable games + sneak off a win or two vs a top flight SEC opponent

H v Ole Miss
@ UGA
H v USCe
@ Ole Miss
H v Arkansas
H v TAMU
H v Vandy
H v LSU
@ TAMU
@ Arkansas
H v Bama
@ USCe

They went 2-7 at home in SEC games just 2 seasons ago, 3-6 at home in SEC games 3 and also 4 seasons ago. They went 6-3 at home in SEC games last year. Every year is different.

Ya, if they don't have a good team, home court is only going to do so much. They are 21st on home court advantage estimates using Kenpom which isn't perfect but acknowledges their advantage at home.

Feel the same way about Auburn after watching last night. We'll see how we handle the upcoming tests though.
