UGA is banging again, y’all have another solid squad
Yeah, but as always, conference play will show us how good we actually are. Though slate of games for us this season; about the only break we got was playing Mizzou instead of Vandy.

Y’all have proven to have legit bats though and have one of the best pitching minds in the sport with Wes Johnson.

UGA baseball is back.

State fans swore to themselves they’d be instant-juggernauts

no they didn't

bringing in a HC and all of his players who completely missed the NCAA Tournament the year prior.

he brought all of 5 players with him from UVA:

William Kirk - RS Freshman - didn't play last year
Chone Jones - Sophomore - only played in 26 games last year but hit .375 in limited action
James Nunnallee - Sophomore - hit .296 as a freshman
Aidan Teel - RS Junior - he is a preseason AA this year
Tomas Valincius - Sophomore - he was a Freshma All-ACC player

Outside of Teel, he pretty much just got some recruits to flip and brought in a handful of guys who were freshmen last year.

No, he didn't bring in his whole team from UVA or even close to that.

He also kept Ace Reese, Noah Sullivan, Gehrig Frei who are all upper-classmen returning players for State who are also really good, especially Reece and Sullivan (36home runs between the two last year).

Where State is supposed to be really good is hitting the ball. On paper, they should be very good at the plate. Where there are question marks coming into the season is the pitching staff

Disagree.

I have several State fans who work for me and they have been crowing about hiring a National Championship coach who just failed to make the NCAA Tournament ever since.

what does this sentence mean? He went to 3 CWS in 4 years before missing the tournament last year (and they weren't even bad last year). He won his national title in 2015. He's been to Omaha 7 times, finished runner-up once and won the national title once. And UVA had effectively no baseball history before him. There aren't many coaches out there with a better resume. They have every reason to be excited about the hire

So, what you’re saying is, LSU has more boxing titles than Arkansas has baseball titles?

I can say we have more basketball titles than you and ours was legitimate.

We don’t claim crap that doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Wait.

Is that your only and most recent Big 3 title? 30+ years ago?

…then why are you posting?

Arkansas’ history of embarrassment is plenty enough.

They don’t need you making it worse.
