The pitchers have to run across the field to enter the bullpen? What kind of dump is this?
That is true for any bullpen, no? Unless its like Box where they're on the damn field.

Yep most I think. Neely was doing well so no one was out there, but they started squaring him up quickly.

yes, college pitchers just don't just sit in the bullpen all game like they do in the pros.

so stupid we still have that. It's caused enough injuries over the years. Pretty sure that's on Jay's list of changes that will be made sooner rather than later or so I hope

I grew up watching it be like that in the dome. I think the Cubs are the only ones who still have it like that in the bigs.

I know they don’t sit in the bullpen but I don’t remember stoppage of play so relief pitchers can run across the field. I thought they walked around. Maybe I’m wrong.

Nah, that's normal. It happens pretty quickly so you probably just haven't noticed

Apparently the Rays and A's do too. (I was curious so i googled) Oakland has about 146 acres of foul territory though
The Giants also just recently moved theirs off the field of play

Third base coach was waving on the runner to home. That read was all on our base runner..

He's just playing around. Nolan Cain was our 3rd base coach for years and had some less than good calls for our runners

He's actually been pretty good this year. I can only think of 1 time where he had the stop sign on and our guy run thru it and scored.

Added another, but yes that was a terrible call. A&M aggressive on the paths. However, FL is playing simply excellent defense

That's all Werner, not Cain.
I would have left Dallas in. He's probably not super stretched out after losing his weekend spot. No need to get him hurt or worn out before regionals. Maybe I talked myself out of it.

I think Schloss wants to get all his pitchers we are relying on some work over the next few games. I think it is good to pull Dallas while he still has his confidence. Kid has gotten shelled before spending a week on the bench - needed a good outing
