South Carolina is 23-10 (.696) in Omaha since 1992 with 2 CWS titles & 2 Runners-up ...and still holds the record for consecutive wins (12) at the CWS.
USC would still be #2 in Most Wins, while dwarfing the rest of the SEC in Win % at a near .700 clip - even having played 15 more games than Vanderbilt and their current .666% mark. the Gamecocks have winning records vs Arkansas, Florida & LSU in that time and have sent each school home from Omaha. better?

South Carolina isn't USC. USC is the University of Southern California, beak brain.
You're Carolina, Cackolina, SCar, or whatever. THE USC in California won the court battle for the rights to "USC" and "SC" 10 years ago.
Give it up, Chickens.

Marketing rights, Green Bay Packers fan. Not the right to use "USC". Go back to eating your cheese......

You do realize they won back to back national titles and were 2 wins away from a 3-peat, right?

Yea, I do.....not sure how that answers my post.
Warren Morris' swing won a national title. How exactly is that moment more than what South Carolina has done in Omaha?

it's pretty amazing to think that this is Auburn's first visit to the CWS in 22 years, and Alabama last went by defeating LSU 2 games to 0 in the very first season of Super Regional 1999.

Yep - been to 3 Supers. 1999, 2006 vs UNC (lost 2-0) and 2010 @ Clemson (lost 2-1).

seems that in the 90's you guys were there a lot. Those were some great teams under Jim Wells back then. G.W.Keller, Roberto Vaz, Joe Caruso, Dustan Mohr, Andy Phillips, David Tidwell. There were others, but those I can remember right off the top of my head. I was in Omaha for that CWS, and I've got to tell you that my feelings were not hurt when I had learned that Vaz had rolled his ankle on a bat during BP. I thought that our chances to win the series greatly increased with him out. That was before y'all had to play out of the losers bracket and was down to Daniels for the final.

We were elite in the 90s, above average in the 2000s and a disaster in the 2010s (2015-2019 especially).
And yea, Vaz stepping on that bat was probably the single most defining moment in Alabama baseball history.
