BA and PG having Alabama where they are behind like 10 of the teams ahead of them is laughably bad.

Wins vs RPI Q1
Alabama - 10
Arizona - 7
WKU - 6
UCLA - 5
Oregon - 5
Coastal - 3
Troy - 3
DBU - 3
UCI - 2
TCU - 2

Losses to RPI Q3/4
Alabama - 1
TCU - 1
UCI - 2
Coastal - 2
WKU - 2
Arizona - 3
DBU - 3
Troy - 5
Oregon - 10

Record vs Q1/2 (Q1 only)
Alabama : 15-9 (10-7)
TCU : 16-11 (2-4)
DBU : 13-8 (3-3)
UCI : 10-7 (2-4)
Arizona : 10-8 (7-7)
Coastal : 8-8 (3-5)
Troy : 8-7 (3-4)
WKU : 6-5 (6-5)
Oregon : 5-1 (5-1)

Oh, also, we beat Troy and Coastal.

Alabama's problem is simple.

You have lost 4 of 6 SEC series..
2 at home
2 on the road

but there is good news.. you're about to add a sweep to your resume.

Lost 4 SEC series, 3 of which were @ #3 LSU, vs #7 Tennessee and @ #12 Auburn (none of which were sweeps). Also took 2 of 3 from #16 Oklahoma and swept Texas A&M.

We shouldn't be ranked in the Top 5 or anything but #25 is a joke. But we aren't a respected program and that's what happens.

At the end of the day, it's hard for a voter to dig into all of the details and truly understand all of them for all of the teams.. So I'm guessing most stick by some simple metrics..

Series Win = Move Up
Series Loss = Move Down

I'm not saying I agree with it.. but the committee will look harder at all of the details and slot you guys accordingly..

Agreed. I thought Bama played really well against LSU this past weekend. No reason a team like that should be as low as 25.

It’s not about one weekend though.. A&M is playing like the best team in the nation the last 3 weekends.. but the rest of their year has been absolute garbage.. so they aren’t ranked..

Alabama has lost 3 series in a row.. and 4 of the last 6.. and at some point you have to get penalized for that. All it takes is winning 1-2 series and they’ll fly right back up..

For those who tried to compare last years wins and hosting etc…. The math doesn’t add up …. Two more quality teams obviously that number will be lower not higher . Just like in basketball when everyone said you had to win 8 conference games to get in blah blah blah …. Ooc games do matter less in baseball imo but they still matter . The sec will have atleast as many host probably more just due to the power of the conference imo . Ooc games already won from sec teams was crazy good to start the season.

Sooners travel to Georgia this weekend and looks like a good chance of rain each day.

Don't worry. Georgia decided to slum it and put in a rug this year. So the only thing that will stop play is lightning or a downpour.
