USC would be way ahead of everyone with 12 national titles even though they’ve won one since the 70s and that one being in 1998 and no CWS trips since 2001

Thank you for referring to it by its proper name. The state of that mall makes me so sad. I remember its hay day, it had a KB toys and Challenges was straight poppin. It’s a shell of what it once was and Burlington was the beginning of the end.

We take our girls there for Santa every year. The old guy who did it forever finally gave it up this year. Was really sad. A lot of older folks who lived all over the Metro came back and brought their kids solely because of him. It was a really cool thing we just kind of stumbled upon.
We moved when they had just signed everything for the change to an outdoor mall, but I saw that fell through and now they have no plan. Sucks.
We love it over there (Medlock Park area).

Ah that sucks. Wasn’t aware of the outdoor mall plan, guess it’s going to go the way of Avondale’s mall now. Ah well, all good things must come to an end. I remember when North Lake was nice too, went through a couple years ago and it was ghostly compared to the old days.
