Texas played a C game and won by 10 while kneeling the ball at the end of the game to run out the clock in field goal range. Texas ran the last 7 minutes off the clock with Arkansas powerless to do shite to stop us. Texas controlled the entire game and Arkansas had no answer for the Texas defense.
Texas will win 70 percent of the time against Arkansas like we have historically. Might even be worse given it is the NIL era. Even though Arkansas cares a lot more about Texas than Texas does about Arkansas.

Yes, you had back to back good drives after that.. but you hadn't been doing anything up that point.
But Arkansas was driving man! They had 9 yards. Texas' D-line whipped Arkansas, sacking the QB 6 times and shutting down their running game. Game was never in doubt. Texas led 10-0 at halftime and slept walked to a ten point win while running out the clock taking a knee in scoring position.

Winning 10 Regular Season games will be considered a GREAT Regular Season. Period.
Look for multiple 8-9 win teams. Followed by a host of 7-5/6-6/5-7 teams.
And then you will have 2-3 teams down in the 2-4 win column.

eta: they could come up with a different schedule in 2026 & 2027 where one of them plays back to back road games in 2027 & 2028.. push it down the road, if you will.. but it'll have to change at some point..
