You'd think both the thread literally being called "SEC ALL Time Football Coaches" and how we have pages of prior discussion debating/ranking specifically coaches who have coached in this conference would not be an implication you are failing to comprehend. UGA fans man, such geniuses.
No, it wouldn't. It's a top ten list of coaches in the SEC. Certainly a coach who only coached or mainly coached in the SEC that was 7th all time in wins in college football overall would be atrocious to leave out. A coach that's 7th in wins, but only won two SEC titles over 17 seasons is probably not an egregious error to leave off the list.
Will say that you could argue Fulmer being better than Jordan or Dye though.

Dabo is 1-3 vs. UGA and Clemson is 18-43-4 vs. the Dawgs all-time.
So UGA fans would say Dabo is historically very much a Clemson coach.
Dabo is 21-16, including 0-3 last year with an ACC championship team.
He is only 9-7 vs. SC which makes him worse than almost every coach Clemson has had in the series.

“3. Robert Neyland”
The General was a 7-0 loss to State in 1950 away from being undefeated and National Champs. Alas, he was so mad that he refused to ever to take a team back to State to play on campus. As a result, it was almost 40 years before Tenner would return to State to play a football game. They did play a handful games in Memphis in between those years. So not sure his whiny b**t should be at number 3 though he was a good coach.

Thats the point. Fulmer, Spurrier, Dye, and Stallings would have benefited greatly from the playoffs
I don’t think Stallings would have won a natty if the playoffs (let’s say four team) had existed in the ‘90s.
I don’t think the 1992 Alabama team could have gone through FSU and Miami consecutively. I think having a month to prepare emotionally and schematically for the Sugar Bowl aided Alabama greatly in a hungry underdog role. Throw a red hot FSU team in the middle of that and it would have been asking a lot for that team to win both games.
