I completely forgot about the one in the 50's.

pretty big deal when ranking the whole SEC like this. History counts

I think conference titles should be included.

some schools have SWC titles and some Big XII and ACC. Not the same as all SEC

How is Florida behind Tennessee and Georgia?
how in the world would they not be? They didn't do ANTYHIGN of note until the mid-80s. They have 3 titles to UGA's 2 and we have far more SEC titles. We have more wins, better win percentage, more bowl wins, etc. As an overall football program UGA is without question better than florida.
Tenneessee is just hanging on by a thread.

Lawwzy mercy...AlaBUBBA fans looking for any and every which way to ease and soothe their pain of being nothing but a....BASKETBALL DUMPSTER, just like the rest of us with the exception of Kentucky.

There's almost no point to even post on this god forsaken wasteland of a board anymore.
Can those of us that just wanna sit around and shoot the shite about sports take over some outer planet TD board and just do it there? Is there a Tennis board or something?

I don't think college baseball is a big sport. It doesn't belong with the other two.
I agree. I think it's a pretty good bet most college sports fans would trade several baseball titles for a single football title.

Us oldheads always talk about "the board used to be better" and people that joined in Winter 2020 think we're just grumpy but I mean it really is not even close to the board I joined when I did. Back then it was actual sports talk all the time with a tiny sprinkling of good natured ribbing thrown in. Now it's incessant non stop trolling by mostly alters with very little sports, and the sports talk that does occur is mostly met with trolls or retards in response. It's why I rarely post on here anymore and post on other TD boards instead.
eta: btw your old home (according to your td profile) is gonna be hosting a big concert in july fyi

But were they even included? Why use conference win% for football/basketball and overall for baseball? I would have used overall for all three.
Interesting analysis, though. Good job!

Seems reasonable considering there are over 40 forums at this website.

Because SEC football started many decades before the 90's. Florida sucked at football before Spurier became their coach.

Ah, well that's still my home so I thought maybe I had something on there before. Where in July is somebody playing a concert? Only concerts in Brookhaven I know of are during the Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring, but I've been out of every loop since COVID hit other than girls softball at Murphey Candler

AVERAGE BIG 2 RANKING (FB, MBB)

AVERAGE BIG 3 RANKING (FB, MBB, Base)

Honestly surprised by Missouri. Their absolute suckage across the board since 2015 has made me forget that it wasn’t always that way.
Funny enough, our “best” sport (Basketball) hasn’t had the high point equivalents of Football and Baseball.
For example, Mizzou has never reached the Final Four (despite 28 NCAA appearances). But football has finished Top 5 three times (#5 in 1960, #4 in 2007, #5 in 2013). And baseball (although currently garbage) has a National Championship in 1954 plus three runner ups (1952, 1958, 1964).
It’s really a shame we can’t get some competent leadership (or fan support) at Mizzou. It’s the only FBS school in the 18th largest state in the US, plus 2 major cities in state to recruit from...the resources are there.

It's just too hard to mix and match and everybody has their own opinions on how much they matter or don't matter. The records is kind of a way to give the regular season some importance in a generally comparative way.
Sounds reasonable, plus what the other guy said. But it would be interesting to see if all of LSU's basketball conf championships would propel them to 2 or 3 in basketball.
How much spare time do you have to be able to compile stuff like this? Haha. My biased hunch was always that LSU was the best all-around. However, if you averaged the total points rather than the rankings, then nobody would come close to Alabama.
