The SEC plays at least 5 ranked teams you fool. If that is favorable what do you call the other conferences match ups?
Just because L5U and booger got literally the worst rushing defense in college football to play and pile up more stats against more of the worst rushing defenses doesn't mean the SEC as a whole played weak teams.

Big ten had the worst matchups and they still went 5-5. Not too bad for them.

They did last night against a terrible defense.
They torched Bama pretty good too...yeah I know, 27 turnovers...but Bama couldn't stop them.

Looking at the match ups, it's not surprising we are 7-2.

You probably think the world is flat, don't you?

Yep the B1G had some bad matchups.

K-State (6-6) and the game is played in Tennessee
Penn State (7-6) and the game was played in Florida
Texas Tech (7-6) and the game was next door to Louisiana
Memphis and the game was in Birmingham for Auburn
NC State (7-6)
Louisville (8-5) and the game was again in Tennessee
Citrus Bowl, Outback Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl
SEC didn't have to really travel at all. Michigan had to go down to Florida, etc.
So the favorable matchups were not only the record or conferences of those opponents but where the games were played.

The B1G should opt out of the Rose since it's always played in California and they have to travel for it.

PAC had 30% of bowl games against non P5's (40% if you count BYU)
PAC will play 10 bowl games and none will be against the SEC

Correct. Only "good teams" we're MSU and Oklahoma St based on record

I agree. Rose Bowl is just another game when it's not up for a semifinal game.

Yeah, I think the SEC is better than people thought and the rest of NCAA had the down year

What about Northwestern? They were 10-2 and ranked 13th. Oh yeah, they had to play an unfavorable matchup against an 8-4 and 23rd ranked UTk.
You fricking clown.

You fricking clown.

This is definitely the best bowl performance the SEC has had in a long time. After going 0-5 in the big bowls the prior two years, the conference had something to prove.

I'm counting 4, and one was a loss.

MSU
Clemson
Okie State
Michigan (loss)
Northwestern
And WTF does one being a loss prove as far as it being a favorable matchup?
