Oregon State was 9-1 before facing A&M. They're 8-11 since.

Ole Miss was 10-4 before facing A&M. They're 5-10 since.

Tennessee was 13-7 before facing A&M. They're 4-6 since.

Missouri was 10-8 before facing A&M. They're 5-7 since, including a 2nd loss to A&M.

Alabama was solidly in the tournament before facing A&M. They're NIT at best now.

Mississippi State was solidly in the tournament before facing A&M. They MIGHT make the dance now.

Arkansas was on the right side of the bubble before facing A&M. They're not now.

It is cute that you think your basketball program commands that much respect to the point that teams melt after losing to the aggies.

Missouri, Tennessee, Oregon State, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State were not serious contenders for the tournament this season. Some of them at absolutely no point.

I don’t think anyone thinks it’s cute.
We’ve struggled with our past couple of hoops hires, and it’s fun to have a likable guy who’s worth supporting.

We don’t have any overinflated sense of our team’s place in the pecking order.

No. Isaiah Joe getting hurt earlier in the season is what ruined ours.

Losing to Georgia is what killed any chance of a bid. A five game winning streak or a win in the SEC tournament would put them in. Now we have to win five games in five days to get in. That's not gonna happen. But I'm ok with the NIT.

They are aggie, let them have their small accomplishments. Rings, cups, banners and such.

As a matter of fact, they are currently printing cups to commemorate the fact that they printed cups last season.
