Top 10 list can't have 56 guys on it.
They shouldn't be added, they should be replaced. It gives their 40 times and then lists players with better 40 times that missed it.

1. Onterrio McCalebb, Auburn, RB, Sr., (4.38) — McCalebb IS Auburn’s running game this season after the dismissal of oft-troubled bruiser Michael Dyer. As one of his team’s — and the conference’s — fastest players, McCalebb makes any defensive coordinator re-think his scheme when the Tigers have the football.
OMac will be a part of the running game and might start, but Tre Mason, Blakeley and probably Jovon Robinson are going to get a LOT of touches, especially between the tackles. I think Robinson is going to be a special back.
McCalleb can also catch the ball in space. I would look for that as well.

What an awful list. Perkins is quick, but yes, not the fastest person on our team. Jameon Lewis is wild lightning.

It can't have 56 guys on it, but it shouldn't have a bunch of guys that aren't even close to being the fastest on their team.
Robert Lester? Really? TM7? Come on. They're both fast enough, but neither are true speedsters. I don't know enough about most of the other guys to really comment, but I know Bama and LSU both have quite a few guys that are faster than these two.

Yea that's really funny..because half of the guys on that list ran a 10.7 100m dash

I see the butthurt still flows strongly with the mention of LC...and to think your fanbase has to endure 3 years of him wrecking shite

You'd think there's some rhyme or reason to the list but with Sylve on the list it loses the "credible or impact" player for this season caveat. Have no clue where the guy is getting the list. I can speak on most of the other players but will only speak on 2.
Sylve can outrun everyone on the list. It's that simple.
Mathieu is likely not even top 5 on LSU much less #8 in the SEC. He's got good speed but his quickness is what you see, not pure speed. At least 2 other cbs on our team are faster in Derrick Raymond and Jalen Collins, maybe even 3 with Tharold Simon. I'd say we likely have a couple of LBs that are faster or very close. I'd even go as far as saying Mingo is likely a faster pure speed guy. Pound for pound, Mingo is likely the fastest player in the league. Not a ton of 240 kids running sub 4.5.
Trey Williams is fast, very fast but whomever said he may have been the fastest HS player in the country last year, is silly. The kid at FSU(not Darby though he likely is faster too) was easily the fastest hs football player in the country. His times made Brazil's look not as special. Unreal speed on that kid. He's a wr but I can't remember his name.

Vandy's Freshman Brian Kimbrow has been clocked at 4.24 and 4.26.

This list is horrid. Davis isn't even our fastest player.

why isn't Corey Grant on the list? he is faster than O-mac.

I agree Corey Grant is fast. Probably the fastest player on Auburn realistically.
