Yeah, not shocking. Its a damn good defense....I'm sure it would have been more competitive with Joe back there. But, glad Brennan can get the reps.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but did our 1s on offense go up against the 2s on defense?

yes you are correct and oline needs a lot of work am not disputing anything you said, but was explaining why this seems to be the case most years with most teams

So you’re a state and Bama fan? Are you that mentally handicapped person who makes those stupid state videos? Serious question.

So again, doing MS St's work for them....

- Defense held out some starters. I assume depth purposes. one of the CBs was out not due to injury, but for depth and injury prevention.

- Had way fewer dropped passes, but still had some.

- The DL (concern for state fans) did well with Lovett creating some issues. Was told he (6'4 320) dropped back in coverage and tipped a pass that was intercepted. Was told that after 2 offensive touch downs, Shoop picked it up and Lovett along with Spencer and Rivers wrecked the OL.

- QBs did as expected, and that Thompson has actually elevated his game.

- RBs Witherspoon?? is a beast. But won't need him and he will redshirt.

Bama fan.

Like MS St and have many friends in that area (and others too). I think they are the most improved program in the SEC over the past decade.

They broke an SEC record this past year. More wins in all sports in the history of the SEC.

It's ok to like another team outside of your on.

Our Punter, Will Reichard, nailed a 70 yarder. Flipping the field (if needed) will be easy. He also kicked a 50 yard FG in the rain.

Here is all I have from Ole Miss:

- Massive defensive issues. Of the starters from the beginning of fall, only 3 are now running with the 1s...

Everyone who is new surprised and looks like stars.

Everyone who has been here sucks and had better watch their asses if they want to see the field as a starter again.

File this away and bring it out for next week and the week after.

We appear to not suck as much as last year. I am cautiously optimistic about the coming season, but given the hole we are digging out of that means I might lean more towards 6-6 then 5-7.

Same song different dance.

A hyped up Alabama kicker is like a hyped up Auburn QB

So true. I have low expectations from our kicking game so it won't take much to get me excited this year. Reichard is certainly turning heads but I have read this book more than once.

Rich Rod is just that good.

Our first scrimmage isn't until tomorrow. Will report back.
