a good non-biased fluff piece. I think your best bet is to pray a lot leading up to the game and the day of eat your Lucky Charms, dance a jig, and pray some more.

Total Offense, ND - 49
Total Defense, Bama - 1

Manti Te'O : 103 Tackles, 5.5 TFL, 1.5 Sacks 7 INT
Kevin Minter: 111 Tackles, 13.5 TFL, 3 Sacks, 1 INT

Minter>>>Te'O

Hype: Te'O>Minter

Trust me, Alabama has faced many, many more complete defenses than the sorry, sad-sack excuse for a defense you folks are cooing over.

Prepare thy anooses.

ND does not have a decent offense. Hate to break it to you.

Furthermore, ND only has the horses on D to hang for a half. In the second half, Bama will run your D into the ground. Their offensive line is most certainly NOT overrated. You are kidding yourself if you think they are.

Manti Te'o is not special. He is not even the best defensive player Alabama will face this year, and definitely not the best they have faced in the last two or three (Mathieu, Fairley, Patrick Peterson, Clowney were all much better).

And this is coming from somebody who actually wants ND to win.

Good luck to the Domers. In order to win, you need a your QB's best performance and turnovers from your D.

Did Michigan not have time to prepare for Bama as well? Also Bama has 6 weeks to prepare for this game. ND may as well bend over and grab their collective ankles.

Bama's weak schedule will doom them in.
Look at what the SEC does to the competition in Bowl games and that will tell you that the teams that ND plays are vastly "over rated."

Maybe good to you but not to the SEC and you my friend will be in for a rude awakening Jan.7th.

Two points that you might possibly want to consider.

1) Michigan had the same amount of time to prepare for Alabama. Didn't look like it helped too much.

2) Fall camp for Alabama started August 3rd and played Michigan 29 days later on September 1st. Saban has 37 days to prepare for Notre Dame.

To be on the safe side, you might want to prepare your anus.

What exactly does this mean?

Moreover, what exactly do previous games have to do with the next game? Are they going to penalize Alabama and make them kickoff from 1?

An easy schedule doesnt mean a team is inept, it means they played inept teams like Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Navy, etc.

Are you going to continue to ramble little Irishman or do you have anything of merit to say?

Great scouting job! Please send it in to Coach Kelly! Notre dame shouldn't even prepare for that weak Alabama run game

Oh, and post less

I hope Bama turns Lacy loose all over your D. ND has a good run D no doubt, BUT I don't see anyway in hell ND stops Bama's running game for the entire game... probably not even for an entire quarter. ND has not seen (much less played against) the bulk and skill of Bama's o-line. Even if they manage to get through or around the o-line, then they still have to try and tackle Lacy...

I predict a close first half, with Bama taking over completely in the second half.

I can think of exactly one position where ND may have an edge on Bama: the D-line. Even at linebacker Bama is better than ND.

Good analysis. So you agree to give me Bama +17 for $1000.00, correct?

If you are that confident in you assessment then this should be easy money for you.
