that being said, if scott doesnt fracture a collarbone, we already had the run game established...he would have rushed for 100+ that game, plus we had a pass game...up until jefferson went out. then came the fluke TD from JJ the one of few plays PP went out due to cramps. it's hard to overcome injuries like that...try to prove me otherwise. if mcelroy, ingram, and your star corner go out it's a different ball game.

How many "if's" do you think it takes I counted 4. The better team won. Scott and about 7 others werent as physical to survive the beating. We ran out of body bags. I can't believe someone started a post about Scott trucking McClain when Scott wasnt even tough enough to finish the game. He'll be watching us play from the sofa along with the rest of the LSU nation.

That is a shitload of ifs.

In 2007 if JPW doesnt fumble....

In 2009 if McTex hits Julio on the wide open pass.....

Yep... I remember it. It was definitely RC. I couldn't believe it when I saw it! He was blown up! Look closely and you'll see them jawing after the play!

I think the better team on saturday won... but weren't 70 odd of those 97 yards on a swing pass to JJ?

Once again, do i have to show you the play from last year where Scott runs full speed at McClain and McClain grabs him, drives him back, throws him down and celebrates?

Would you like for someone to show you where your sister is attempting to pull out your 2 inch dick from 3 inches of clothing?

thats fricking retarded, and you are a fricking retard. you counted 4 if's? i counted 2..

anyway, what? are you implying charles scott should have drank more milk as a child so his bones would be strong? i dont understand that statement "he wasnt tough enough to finish the game"

his collar bone is fractured...have you ever broken or fractured anything? if so, i'll just assume you werent tough enough to finish what you were doing whether that was walking or riding a bike.

shite, by your logic guys like tebow and jahvin best werent tough enough to finish the game because they suffered concussions that werent their fault. that makes no fricking since, please...just STFU you dumb fricking gump.

now back to my OP, no...it's not a lot of ifs...i said bama played a good game and did what they needed to do, but bottom line, those injuries hurt us big time. scott and jefferson were our offensive leaders, they were playing well enough to win but they got injured, nothing they or anyone else could do...shite happens. i just believe that had they not gotten hurt, it would have been an even closer game.

and i have a VERY hard time believing that you gumps think had scott and ingram traded places y'all still would have won. he was your offense the entire 2nd half.

a freak injury to scott and a freak ankle roll to jefferson doesn't mean they weren't physical enough to survive the beating

peterson is the only one you can debate about

he was cramping up, but those 2 tackles he made on ingram wore on him, no doubt

LSU gets the ball back from the interception and has the potential to go 61 yards for a TD to win. That balances it out. Of course LSU was not given that earned chance to do that.

I've watched the video of this play a couple times, and I don't see where y'all are getting the notion that Scott was "trucking" Rolo. McClain lowered a shoulder, and pushed Scott out of bounds. It was basically a draw between two very physical players.

Take a look at the video yourself. A still frame never tells the whole story.

Pathetic...you cant be serious trying to deny that Scott didnt manhandle him...wipe the tear out of your eye...McClain is still a great LB...Bama won the game...but on that play he got thoroughly tooled

The very next play Chuck missed the wide open pass from Jefferson.

That's 'cause that hit from McClain was still bothering him.

right. it's not like we were getting our heads knocked off. Ankles, knees, etc are just shitty luck. Scott landed awkward after tearing through the defense for a huge gain....it wasn't some overly physical play that hurt him. Scott was actually getting stronger, and i thought he was about to take the game over.

It was just a good hit by both, McLain just ended up on the ground. I wouldn't really call it trucked either.
