Yeah, I think I remember that play. Although I don't remember how it developed or whether McClain was off balance or something, but I do remember thinking, wow, did he just ran over McClain.

It happened, it was ok, it wasn't what I would call an out and out trucking but Scott's a big dude and a good player.
And anyway there are some Alabama fans who probably would have been dicks anyway after this game and there are some who just have tired of all the constant fricking whining and crying about how we were given the game or stole it or whatever.

It's just funny how LSU fans are finding these little things to find moral victories in. They are acting just like Tennessee fans if not worse.

Not one LSU fan claimed that play as a moral victory you dumbass. Learn to read. It was simply a good play by a LSU player.

Go to the sec digital network site. It's at the 11:35 mark in the 3rd quarter. It's the first play we ran in the 2nd half. Scott gets the pitch on an option and McClain sheds Peterson's block and tries to put his head down on Scott. Chuck lowers the shoulder and puts him on his arse. The very next play Chuck missed the wide open pass from Jefferson.

meh...nice try, but i disagree. only dominance bama established was the run game in the second half. that's it.
that being said, if scott doesnt fracture a collarbone, we already had the run game established...he would have rushed for 100+ that game, plus we had a pass game...up until jefferson went out. then came the fluke TD from JJ the one of few plays PP went out due to cramps. it's hard to overcome injuries like that...try to prove me otherwise. if mcelroy, ingram, and your star corner go out it's a different ball game.
all in all, bama played well...did what they needed to do to win. nothing really surprised me about the game except the injuries. i knew bama's pass game would be mediocre at best and the run game would be the bread and butter against our D. also knew our pass game is better and we could would utilize it...and we did...and then jefferson went out. tough break, shite happens. but, still wouldnt say bama manhandled us...that's just ignorant.

Could have been a lot closer, think about it. If Peterson gets the proper call, LSU would have a chance to add about 60 yards to that stat.
