Was this a reply to me? I have already stated that unless Lee comes up with proof that money changed hands that this whole matter is dead in the water.

No, all they have to prove is that Peaches was asking for money from Auburn without BC's knowledge.

Wait, no, that won't work either...

FWIW, I don't like the precendence it's setting.... this oneupmanship is bad for both schools, and the conference for that matter.

AGREED!

maybe coach goodwin had something better to do on fall saturdays than to drive to tuscaloosa seven times?.... like review game film from friday's game?

Actually, that's a pretty good question. Would you like to find out who accompanied Calloway on his multiple trips to Auburn? I think you'll find that at least SOMEONE named Goodwin was on most of those trips.

My advice... don't ask. You won't like what you find out.

Neither is good. We'd be MUCH safer if he were on our Board of Trustees.

He's the guy who told on himself. Jlee alleged somebody paid Peaches' mortgage, didnt name any names, but Woodruff starting tweeting that people need to get their 'facts' straight, essentially implicating himself

Yep... nothing says "I'm guilty" like tweeting this:

I am going to say this one time. Before you write or say anything about me in the public you better have the facts.

It's over... We're screwed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it been said that this guy is a longtime friend of Calloway's dad? If he is, the rules are a bit different I believe. The NCAA doesn't regulate pre-existing personal relationships like that the way they would some random booster knocking on the door one day and leaving a crimson briefcase with 10 grand inside of it. Also, I'm pretty sure that gifts are permissible from family friends and what not assuming they knew the recruit before he became a star football player.

WAIT!!!.... don't let the cat out of the bag yet... it was just starting to get good. Please don't ruin it for those of us watching Auburn's version of "much ado about nothing".
[pulls off to side]

Dude, they are messing with you. If you weren't such a noob, you'd know this already. Get over it.
He didn't win a NC, but Rudi Johnson was another one-year-hit for Auburn.

I can't recall many examples outside of Auburn, probably because going to class isn't optional anywhere else.

Call him the Anti-Andy Kennedy?
I bet you could get Richard Williams back.

She's probably all grown up by now.
Vitale is a drag on college basketball. It would be WAY more popular without him as its spokesperson.

There are so many other, more reasonable, less stupid CBB commentators out there... I don't understand why they keep trotting out this blowhard. I won't watch a game he's calling, and I haven't for years.

Which program is that, exactly?

Auburn's known about the investigation for several weeks. The public just found out about it today.

Nothing will change with Cam until the NCAA finds "new" information.

You are so right, Carl... WHO WOULDN'T want to play for a team best known for running into Stanford's band? Gives me chills just thinking about it.
and would behave if reinstated.

Apparently, the Aubies are touchy about the cows...

(pun intended)

Thanks in advance!
Anybody know why Jake Holland is still a 3*? That seems strange to me, as fast as he is.

Buster Brown is a fraud. Anyone that has an inkling of what's going on at UNA will attest to that.

Don't expect that train to leave the station any time soon.
I'm no Verne and the Boilermaker fan, but be careful what you wish for...

Bollerjack and Beurlien (sp?) could be worse. Beurlien sometimes acts like he's still suffering from the concussion administered by the Great Biscuit.
22 years after Alabama started it's successful Tide Pride program, Penn State is starting it's own, slightly reduced version.

Click for the Nittany Lion Club

Funny thing is that Penn State fans are COMPLAINING about having to pay what amounts to a fraction of what Alabama fans have had to pay since 1988, for comparable seats. All the while, Tide Pride's waiting list has grown to somewhere in the neighborhood of 15+ years.

Money and damned good football... the SEC has it, the others don't.
