"There's things about being coach at Nebraska that I haven't been able to enjoy because of all the time I've been spending trying to fix problems and dig ourselves out of a hole and get the team better," he said.

WTF?!?!?! What kind of explanation is that? Go ahead and get the $7.5 million buyout check ready for next year.

You got anymore context here? What was he asked, what’s the full conversation? And while it may be something you don’t want to say, is he wrong?

From my understanding, Frost is likely undergoing hormone reengineering.

Really shows how great a coach Tom Osborne was. Not good...great. A few of his mid-90s teams were unreal.

It helps when the whole state is on the plan. Nebraska needs some serious soul searching.

And Bob Devaney before him. The fact is, Nebraska will not have any problem recruiting or winning when and if they learn how to pull the plug and get someone who can recruit and coach.

Tom Osborne and Andro assisted weight training way ahead of the game!

Until everybody caught up/on.

Frost trying to dig himself out of a hole by telling Joe Burrow to blow off, do not want him. Frost is the dumbass that dug his own hole.

Nebraska was the first school to build a state of the art weight training facility. It had everything available in that time period. Right down to anti-bacterial carpets.

He cheated.

Also back then only a few teams got on TV every weekend regularly. Nebraska was one of them. So good recruits went where they could get exposure

Now everyone is on tv. And recruits would rather go to school at a place like Georgia or Alabama with nice fall weather and fun college towns rather than cold arse Nebraska in boring Lincoln

I hate to say it but I can understand the Nebraska AD's reasoning in not canning Frost this year. You can't turn around without bumping into a big time program that has either fired their coach or is likely too. With a fairly small pool of candidates would you want to compete with USC and LSU for a top notch coach?

I think he means there's things about being coach at Nebraska in the 90's that he can't enjoy because it's 2021.

Yep - he cheated. Glad to see that has all been cleaned up now. That explains all the parody in recruiting we’ve seen the last 10 years.

Maybe he was just a great coach that had a better plan?

If you had a sophomore qb that was up for numerous awards like the heisman, davey obrien, etc. Would you go to the transfer portal and take a qb that was older than him?
