frick Sark. Seeing Texas A&M, OU, and Texas Tech in the playoffs while we're watching at home; yeah he can go frick himself.
This. If you lived through the SWC days, this is the mentality of SWC fans.
Texas fans/boosters are not going to tolerate going into work every week and hearing about how 3-4 other teams in the state are having more success than them.

I think this is an irrational take. Sark produced a couple dozen draft picks, won a bunch games, made a couple of conference championship appearances and probably should have won both. Beat down all our rivals consistently. He caught a couple bad breaks like Brooks tearing his ACL before the playoffs. Quinn tearing a muscle on a routine throw vs UTSA, limiting our offense for months. Losing half the RB room before the ‘24 season even started. Accidentally knocking out Carson Beck who had like 25 yards passing in a half. He’s not perfect, but he has been very unlucky to not have at least made one title game.

But Arch was a mistake
He may or may not survive that

1-8 in top 5 matchups. With all that talent. Sark wins when he has a talent advantage, but when it's equal, he can't coach his way out of a paper bag. Other coaches make adjustments and game plan, while we always have excuses. Dude sucks.

I don’t know man, when it’s framed that way i think it makes it look worse than it actually is. 2022 Bama was a superior squad in terms of talent and Texas outplayed them. Bryce Young made some ridiculous plays to keep them in that game. The Top 5 TCU team we lost to that year had a dozen draft picks and a veteran QB vs a Freshman Quinn Ewers. The first UGA loss was bad but Quinn was perc’d out of his mind, the offense was limited, and the RB room was down to 185lb Tre Wisner. Sark got really unlucky in the conference championship game in my opinion, I thought they out coached Georgias staff, but the whole Stockton situation was unpredictable. The Washington game was just bad luck, they were the only stylistic adversary to Texas in the bracket. Texas likely wins a national title if they draw Bama or Michigan instead. Sark is not perfect, but Texas could do a lot worse. He got burned this season on a few roster management decisions.

I just can't understand how Arch has the starting job.

Influential boosters wrote massive checks and Sark is afraid to piss them off by doing the right thing for the team and benching him.
They still showing the Warby Parker commercials?

Sark is a good OC but I don't know if he's a great HC.

Some of our fans live in denial. Reality is going to hit them hard at some point. I don’t know what more they meed to see but they will have ample opportunity.
Unless we get lucky and there is an nfl team dumb enogh to hire him.

Yet he is 0-3 vs kirby, 0-2 vs day, 0-2 vs Deboer. That’s not the flex you think it is.
Our worst unit, by far, is the offense. His specialty. I don’t know what more some of you need to see.

If A&M wins, things might start moving. Texas reacts more to A&M than any other school.
I’m surprised that some longhorns are surprised by Sark. He averaged 7 wins a year for a reason.
Texas could easily be 5-5 right now.

We will hear tales of incredible development this offseason from hacks like ketch. Followed by glowing reports out of training camp and our gullible fans will eat it up again, as is tradition.
Never ending cycle.
We hired a guy who’s nickname was “7 win sark”. We got what we deserve

Spotting UGA 14 points with the 15 yard cushions was crazy, who do the Dawgs even have that can hurt you deep without a coverage bust?
Branch is very capable. That said, I don't think he has broken a really long one this year.

Damn near 100 yards of penalties. The drops.
These were killers, no doubt.

Georgia isn’t 25 points better than Texas, but man that coaching advantage really fricking stood out.
This may be correct. It's hard to say. I mean, drops and penalties are a part of the equation. The coaching part, though? Yeah. You're right.

Longhorn media pumps up their team and coaches. Who knew!

comes down to preparation. We had two weeks to prepare for this game. That Falls squarely on the head coach. I don’t understand why our fans keep giving him a pass on that.

I don’t blame the media. They’re there to make money like everyone. I do blame the fans who fall for it every year, however.
