The A&M loss was on Golding, not Marrone.

What happened to 4 Star Carson Beck and 5 Star Brock Vandagriff?
Beck has maturity issues and will be leaving in a few weeks. Probably more talented than Stet and JT, but emotionally he is not QB1 material
Brock apparently has the yips and is struggling to learn the offense. He was playing low level competition in HS. Might have been a miss eval there.

I doubt Ole Miss makes the top 15. Probably only signing around 18-20 HS kids and saving the rest for the portal. Recruiting rankings won't mean what they used to until they figure out how to measure the portal.

Well, from my research, GA has a sh!t load of defensive talent...can't wait to see your front 7 vs. Michigan's offensive line and your gameplan for Haskins, Corum, and Edwards.
This is going to be one of those Rated "R" games...no woman & children! I'm serious, there's going to be violence on that field in Miami. I'm imagining by now Kirby has watched enough film to realize Michigan is not some "tune-up" game for your Bama rematch! This game is going to be EXCITING!

Do you guys have a QB and wr's that can stretch the field consistently?
Because if Harbaugh lines up and tries to run over UGA, y'all are going to lose.

I actually think Vandy is one of the more impressive classes. Would have never thought they would be chilling at 31

The bar has been set for Kirby’s tenure.
Okay. But there are @120 teams that wish they were where we are. I mean, what do you want? Should Alabama fans cower since they don't win it every year?
Should you apologize for not winning it in 2019?
I've never understood the big draw some posters have for trolling.
Be you, man. Be you.

They do not. They typically throw shorter passes....think of Stetson Bennett that can't run and a worse arm. Their first string QB threw 17 TDs while Bennett threw 24.
They are a running team primarily with one 1,000 yard rusher and one 900+ yard rusher, so they can run the ball.
Turnovers and time of possession look to be similar. I think they have a small advantage in both, but almost the same.
Their strengths play to our strengths. I guess you could reverse the analogy, too.

Very rarely do teams have a tune up game in the playoffs. Notre Dame didn't make it. I suspect it will be a tough physical game.

That has literally nothing to do with 2022 recruiting and does not even account for it.
The point is a single recruiting class can be an anomaly, up or down. The "talent composite" serves to level out individual classes and get to the point on how well a team as recruited over several years.
It's the equivalent to not getting to excited or bummed about the single day results in the stock market. Smart people should be more concerned about long term averages.
And none of this speaks to what happens to that talent when it gets on campus.....

Vandy’s class is insanely impressive. Their team rating and avg recruit are higher than almost all of our classes under odom.
