Schloss has been recruiting for Texas since late April. Well, well known in Texas baseball circles. TexAgs kept it a secret when the team got further than expected. But there is a reason the TA reporter is the one that asked the question

Would love that reporter to be at his introductory press conference to call his arse out.

Why would the HS baseball people lie? Schloss is a dirt bag and has been planning this since before the end of the season. The seniors, on the other hand, found out via Twitter this afternoon. Schloss and his pal played this out well for maximum damage.
Nolan Cain was in on it as well, and Max Weiner was a requirement of Schloss for accepting the job.

Schloss didn’t want this to go on this long. His plan was to jump as soon as A&M was out. We weren’t even allowed a counter.
