Noted. Sorry for the jack. Back on topic...LSU will come out okay in the end, as long as Haley is telling the truth. Maybe a slap on the wrist, unless there's something more to that story. But Les has the football staff on lockdown. They have their stories down straight, so unless someone diverges from that, they seem true.

I can't respond due to a prohibition against IM'ing. However, if I could, I would say something along the lines of you're correct and may his circular sunglasses and long hair forgive me.

Even if let's say a school paid 100k to a service with the rules as is do you really see anything happening. The ncaa would need to prove a direct link to the recruit. Who is one person to say anothers product is overpriced. This is a free market economy and the value of something is what someone is willing to pay. I know its shady but the ncaa would have a hard time proving the contrary.

Thats not even the biggest news. Things are gonna happen quick now. Wednes, Thursday at the latest we are looking at some serious shizznit dropping down. Be very forwarned. Its gonna be bad. I mean, this rabbit hole goes so far down that I'm not sure I even know what I'm talking about. But book it, something will happen. Something big. You don't even know. Something big.

there nothing here to really discuss except the IM stuff...cause when you add up the payments to multiple recruiting services for multiple reports on multiple states including the big 3 (as mentioned) ...California, Florida and Texas and the bill isnt 5Ok ......it's not really that unusual.

If you want a real story find a top team that has NO contract recruiter expenses and then you will be on to a story with legs.

By the way does anybody have the link to Sean Nelson's invoices for the team he has assisted....cant see to find anything on that other than the Trooper Taylor's "gave em gas money" comment.

I think the 6k that LSU paid to Lyles could end up hurting Oregon. Say they keep finding that a bunch of schools all paid Lyles 5 or 6k and the outlier is Oregon at 25k, that's going to look suspicious. Now, if every other school that paid Lyles was like 1k and LSU was at 6k, I will be worried.

Nope.

Well not exactly. The link is there. The proof has to be that there was influence on the scout's behalf. The only ways I see to prove that are 1)admission from a party involved (scout most likely, in an effort to bring down those around him as he goes down) or 2) catching someone in a lie.

Haley's connection to this is the ONLY thing that LSU has to worry about as far as violations...at this point.

Agreed, I just still think the ncaa is going to have a hard time actually proving it.
