Everybody's calling for him to retire now, but if he managed to bring us back to bring a winning program in 2-3 years then everybody would jump right back on the bandwagon.

He's 70 years old. Sorry, he's not bringing a winning program back in 2-3 years. His Good years are behind him. Time for SC to move in a different direction.

I agree. It'll be a sad day when he leaves, I won't lie. He has done so much for our program. But I don't want to see it broken back down to what it was under Brad Scott before Spurrier finally exits stage left.

The fans won't stand for it any longer. We used to be fine with being mediocre and would basically throw parties for winning 4 games a year. lol. Not anymore. Those days are gone and Tanner knows it. Boosters are not gonna hand over those huge donation dollars, either, with the state of the program at the moment.

Meh, I never liked it when he went to SoCar, but now I am indifferent. I think he has been there longer than UF or about the same iirc.

Same at both.

He was at Florida 11 years as HC, and this is his 11th season at USCe.

We fricking tore the goal posts down at Willy B when we beat East Carolina to break the 0-21 skid. How sad is that?

What makes it sadder is it was actually New Mexico State

We went 0-21 though. We tore em down again the next week when we beat UGA

I didn't say he would. All I'm saying is that if he was to accomplish something like that, nobody would bat an eye towards the 2014 and 2015 seasons and go right back to loving him "unconditionally".

Damn..that's right. I was there when that happened. Don't know why I thought it was East Carolina.

Ha...good times, good times. You'd have thought we'd just won the national championship game.

Nah people were saying he was going to retire when we were winning 11 games a year. At least on here, anyways.

Ha..if he manages to beat the taters this year, I will personally porn bomb tRant to the point of a permaban.

As it stands, I have nothing to worry about and y'all will have to continue searching for your own porn.

Well back then I followed a lot of the Facebook pages and other forums and everybody (around there at least) was on the Spurrier hype train big time back then.

They were always saying how much they love him and how much they support him. He has two bad seasons and every hates him and we're all over him now. It's all kinda hypocritical and it's real sad in my opinion.

Spurrier has always seemed a lazy recruiter, Jadaveon Clowney notwithstanding. There's really no excuse that Clemson should ever outrecruit SC when the latter is in the Southeastern Conference.

I don't hate him. I just realize it's time. The man is old. Most of the coordinators contracts are up. Who do you think Spurrier can pull in to rebuild? He's already dug his own grave with his 2-3 years comment. What coach out there would take a chance and come here just to possibly have him leave a year or two later?

So who would SC go after, should Spurier hang it up after this year (just for argument's sake)

That dude in GA may be looking for a new gig...

I'm sorry, I may have worded what I said a second ago the wrong way. That comment wasn't geared towards you or anything. Just some of the other fans who just trash Spurrier now. I do agree that if Spurrier never made those stupid comments about being there for 2-3 more years then we'd probably be in better shape right now.

All I'm saying now is that if he truly has a good plan and wants to stay committed to the team, I'd be interested to see what he would do from this season onwards. If there's no plan and he's just going to wing it until he feels done, then I think he needs to pass the torch and move on.

The advantage Dabo has is he does shite like the nae nae with his team...the kids love that shite, evidently. He looks even more retarded than his name sounds, but it is what it is. Dude dances like the whitest white boy ever to exist. Like...makes an albino look like a mexican white.

Dabo is a retard

There's a pretty good thread over on the Cock Rant about this.

My short list is Shane Beamer or Chad Morris

This doesn't make much sense given we have outrecruited most SEC programs in recent years. We beat out LSU all the time for players out of state.
